Make sure you have enough ramp (mana rocks, land tutors) so you aren't stuck watching everyone else make big plays while youre tapped out
I rarely play storm or decks where proliferating matters, but I can absolutely imagine this card putting in a lot of work for someone that is used to playing both of those and causing an absolutely overwhelming amount of value at instant speed
For many millennials who grew up with the Game Boy games these are the most recognisable creatures in the series - including Pikachu, Charizard, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Mewtwo and more and they were the same batch of monsters leveraged during Pokmon Gos launch eight years ago, tapping into the same audience and the same nostalgia
Its really good at generating card advantage and messing with your opponents plans, so you get to stay in control while setting up your big moves
This version of the archetype is the one in which you are happiest throwing in non-synergy cards like good generic burn or planeswalkers
